Gabriel Jones’ photograph, image appropriation and drawings evolve around such themes as pseudonyms, “apatriotism”, geography, science, paleontology and time perception.
Jones photographed ARCADE FIRE’S 8 album covers “The Suburbs” in collaboration with the band and art director Vincent Morisset and designer Caroline Robert. (54th GRAMMY AWARD for best Album Packaging, 2011; selected in AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHY ANNUAL : 47th AI-AP, 2011)
His photographs where exhibited in venues such as the Photo España Festival; Paris Photo; MUCEM Museum, Marseille; as well as galleries Michèle Didier, Paris; Priska Juschka Fine Art, New York and Bugdahn und Kaimer, Dusseldorf.
His latest book SPLASHES, was published by RVB BOOKS, Paris in 2018.
